Partner Employment Program
Since 2018, we’ve helped more than 330 Defence and veteran partners secure meaningful employment.
The program is tailored for the unique experiences of Defence and veteran partners, and is available for free online or over the phone.
TYPES OF SUPPORT
We can support you whether it’s looking for a role in a new location, finding a new career, or re-entering the workforce. Our highly trained team will work with you to determine how best they can support you based on your individual needs.
This support may include:
- Help translating ex-serving Defence members' military skills to the civilian job market
- Support in interpreting selection criteria and writing CVs, application letters and social media profiles
- Access to employers across Australia
- Training and development
- Vocational counselling
- Career development
- Interview coaching

To be eligible for the Employment Program for partners, you must:
- Be an Australian resident
- Be married to or the de facto partner of a current or ex-serving ADF member
- Not be in regular employment.
